CELEBRITIES - WHY NOT OFFICIAL SITES?

Have you ever wondered why some people who are famous don’t have any official site? Because it is not important to them? Don’t they have time? And why do you want to find an official site of somebody who is famous? Because the person is famous or do you have another(better) reason? So let’s have a look at this…

WHY SHE/HE SHOULD HAVE AN OFFICIAL SITE?

Why there are official sites? Do you know reasons why somebody has an official site? Of course it is perfect if somebody has an official site(s) because there are lots of fake profiles and no one wants to write somebody who pretends to be somebody else. Maybe you don’t know why someone pretends to be somebody else, why somebody has a fake celeb profile. I really thought of it much to find reasons why people have fake profiles. But this is not goal of this article… So here are the reasons why to have official site(s):

1. Why celebs should have an official site are fake profiles. No one wants to write to somebody who is a liar. No matter if you are famous or a ‘normal’ guy.

2. Another reason is to be more popular than the person is now. It is about self promotion. To be as famous as you can. To be as popular as you can.

3. News about you. What you are doing, new photos of yourself and so on.

WHY SHE/HE SHOULDN’T HAVE AN OFFICIAL SITE?

I don’t know any reason why somebody who is famous, who is a celeb shouldn’t have an official site seeing the world thru fan’s eyes. If you know any then I will be glad if you let me know. Why do I emphasize so frequently a word ‘famous’? Because ‘normal’ people don’t need to have any official site(s). Can you see my point of view? But when I see the world thru celeb’s eyes I see these reasons why not to have any official site:

1.There are a lot of non-official fan sites where you can read lots of information about somebody who is famous.

2. They don’t have time.
Of course if she/he replied to all messages she/he got every day she/he wouldn’t have time for her/his job and especially they wouldn’t have time for themself.. But on the other hand they can have somebody who could take care of their official sites…
If somebody says: ‘I don’t have time’ it mostly means you don’t know how to control your time or something or somebody is not important to you. The same thing is when a celeb use ‘ignoring’ - when you wrote something and in spite of that the person didn’t reply…

WHY DO PEOPLE WANT AN OFFICIAL SITE?

Well, the reason is not to know as much as you can about your favorite celeb. If this is your reason then you don’t need any official site. Why? Because there are a lot of great fan sites where you will find information that you are looking for. Here are reasons why people want celeb official sites:

Getting to know her/his as much as you can what means you want to be in contact with your favorite celeb. You want to write to your favourite celeb and especially you want to read her/his answers. But why?

1. Because you think, you have fantasies that your favorite celeb is a great person and you would love to make friends with her/his.

2. Because you think you love your favorite celeb but do you really know it for sure?

Why did I wrote: ‘you think’? Because you can’t know for sure that you really love your favorite celeb, you can’t know for sure if your favorite celeb could be your best friend. Why? Do you really know the celeb? Of course not. You can’t! And that’s why no matter why you want to be in contact with your favorite celeb it is all about what you think and not what you know… And also do you know why a celeb should be your friend or even why the celeb should date you? What do you can offer…?

No matter why you want to find a celeb official site. It is your business. But I don’t live for it because famous people are just people and not Gods. They are not perfect, they’re not saint even you can think they are. If I am a fan of somebody then it is not because what she/he has, because she/he is popular or what she/he says about herself/himself but because of their job, because I like their job. I mean I don’t have to like them but I can love their job. And I really don’t care about their privacy…

When you visit a site of celeb no matter it the site is real or not you can usually read lots of fans comments there. Something like this: I love you. You are the best actress, actor. You are very pretty and so on. How they can say ‘I love you’ without knowing the person well? How they can say she/he is the best actress/actor without knowing something about it? Don’t you know people who are famous usually pretend something to protect themselves and their privacy?

HOW TO RECOGNIZE IF SOMEONE’S PROFILE IS REALLY AN OFFICIAL SITE?

If you have a some time then try to find profiles of somebody who is famous. And you will find lots of profiles of that person. But which profile(s) is really official? Even if you can read in a profile: “this is official website of…” it doesn’t mean the profile is really official, the profile is not fake.

The best way would be if someone who is famous gave prove. But those people don’t usually do it. And do you know why? Because they DON’T WANT or because they CAN’T?

Here are some advices:

1.Start by assuming the celebrity profile you are looking at is NOT REAL. There are lots of celeb profiles and many of them claim to be ‘the real’ celeb. You know celebrities may or may not have an official site(s), but if they are popular they usually have dozens of fakes so chance are the profile you are looking at is fake.

2. Go to the celebrities official website if there is any and/or Wikipedia and see if there is a link or links to their other sites for example Myspace, Facebook. Click it and then you are seeing their official Myspace page.

3.Take a look at the information the celebrity has provided. Is it accurate? Take at look the photos. Are they all photos from awards ceremony, or pics generally available anywhere? Or do you see some more personal less posed photos.

4. Is the celebrity online at it’s web site all the time? Celebrities are busy people, if they seem to be online constantly leaving lots of comments, posting bulletins etc. very likely a fake.

5. Did the celebrity agree to go out with you? Or are they telling you all their troubles. Unfortunately there are full of naive members who believe they are making a date or chatting with the real deal.

6. Even if you do find the official celebrity profile, keep in mind many of these are run by publicists, the label etc not by the artist. So forget about private communication…

And be aware: lots of fake profiles can lead to malware… Fake profile fighting is endless. You know they can always create new fake profiles. So if you don’t use your own brain and if celebs won’t give any proof that they have an official site then we never stop fake profiles!
